Tires are your critical connection to the road. They affect ride, handling, traction and safety. That's why checking tire condition and inflation pressure regularly is crucial to vehicle performance and safety. Maintaining proper wheel alignment reduces tire wear, increases fuel economy and improves handling, while also protecting your steering and suspension parts. It also helps you get the maximum life and optimum performance from your tires.
  • Underinflated tires and improper wheel alignment can hinder vehicle performance and reduce fuel efficiency.
  • Check tire pressure at least once a month; if your vehicle is equipped with the Tire Pressure Loss Warning system, you can check the pressure from inside your vehicle through your steering wheel controls.
  • Follow the tire manufacturer's recommendation on tire rotation intervals.
  • Have a four-wheel alignment inspection done at least annually, or at the first sign of tire wear.
