Your heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system not only keeps your vehicle's interior comfortable, it also optimizes defroster operation to ensure good visibility. That's why it's important to have this system serviced periodically. It could also save money on more expensive repairs.

If your system is low on refrigerant, its ability to cool you off is greatly reduced. And if your air conditioning system is working harder than it should, it could negatively affect your gas mileage.
  • If your vehicle has the FSS (Flexible Service Schedule) system, it will alert you when it's time to change your oil and filter.
  • If your refrigerant is low, a leak test will be performed, and any leak can be diagnosed and repaired.
  • A/C service should also include a check of the compressor's drive belt and tension.
